I won’t even begin to try and explain the trials and tribulations of Broadway’s SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK. Let’s just say it had to go be reworked for a while, and now it’s back! As CBR reports many characters have been reduced or increased in prominence, and one who was reduced was Arachne.

No, not the human female character of Arachne from Marvel’s 616 Universe…SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK actually featured the mythological Arachne as a villain/guide for our webbed hero. I haven’t seen the show yet, but I thought her outfit looked great and am sad that it now has reduced stage time.

Oh well, maybe we’ll see a CLASH (CHORUS?) OF THE TITANS musical someday and we’ll get that solo-singing Medusa we’ve all secretly been dreaming of…
