Selfish Item

a sonnet by Dan Standing

I claw at the carpet as I am pulled,
Inside the lamp – my legs already mist.
Oh yes, the inscription had me so fooled,
My hips slide inside; I cannot resist!

It sat on a shelf, all plain and dusty.
Engraved a promise; Beauty and Power.
First rub made me thin and very busty,
Got excited and wet – then things did sour.

Now cursed to obey I fight with my fate,
Waist deep inside bronze I now get the joke,
Wishes of other’s I’ll evermore sate,
Just from their rubbing, or even a poke.

Sucked in… my outfit slutty and corny.
And add to it I’m still so damn horny!
